Guajiro Dance Co:
Guajiro Dance Company is a Dallas-based salsa
dance group formed by Luis Delgadillo. He began his dancing career
in the 1980s in Los Angeles, California and has helped create
several dance groups, including the Guajiro Dance Co. and Guaguanco
Dance Company of Houston.
Luis has visited Cuba many times and has studied its diverse dance
forms, including the Guaguanco (an Afro-Cuban street dance form)
Luis has brought numerous international salsa dancers from many
countries to the Metroplex area to conduct workshops, perform
shows and participate in Houston’s and Dallas' Salsa Conventions
and other major salsa events, which he organizes and promotes
annually, Luis' passion is the promotion and expansion of the
Latin culture through dance.
SalsaDallas.com is a website for the communities in and surrounding Dallas, founded by Luis Delgadillo in 2004.
Salsadallas.com has helped create several salsa events in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Brownsville, New Orleans, and Oklahoma City.
SalsaDallas.com promotes local clubs such as Blackberry’s, Gloria’s Restaurants, Congas, Babalu, Babilonia, El Tren Latino, 5th Avenue, etc.
SalsaDallas.com brings numerous international salsa dancers from many countries to the Metroplex to conduct workshops and perform.
SalsaDallas.com's passion is to promote and expand the latin culture through dance.
