This extensive travel has made him a very well known singer within the Salsa community. Ray was born and raised in New York City’s Spanish Harlem and grew up in the Bronx. He started singing at a young age and as it was then that his mother convinced him to take vocal lessons. His first professional Singing experience was with a neighborhood local band called El Conjunto De Don Juan, which recorded in New York. The year was 1970 the place was the Colgate Gardens in the Bronx where Ray made his debut playing on the same stage with Eddie Palmieri’s La Perfecta featuring Ismael Quintana; Joe Cuba featuring Cheo Feliciano and Jimmy Sabater; and Ricardo Ray and Bobby Cruz. In 1972, Ray recorded with Chino y Su Conjunto Melao, which was at the time a popular New York Band amongst Salsa dancers. During one of his presentations with El Conjunto Melao, was when the late legend, Ray Barretto asked him to record on his upcoming release “RICANSTRUCTION”. After accepting to record this album with Ray Barretto, he wound up recording a total of four albums with him including: BARRETTO LIVE, GIANT FORCE, and RHYTHM OF LIFE. Louie Ramirez In 1976 contacted Ray De La Paz to sing on a production with Sonora Poncena. The album was titled “MUSICAL CONQUEST/CONQUISTA MUSICAL” (Inca Records). Louie Ramirez then hired Ray to sing on his 1982 production “NOCHE CALIENTE” which was on the K-Tel Label. Two great hits came out of that LP which was “Estar Enamorado” and “Todo Se Derrumbo.” After the success of “NOCHE CALIENTE”, Ray and Louie toured Venezuela and much of South America as Louie Ramirez and Ray De La Paz. This was the first time the two names were connected. The chemistry was great and the dancers loved it! Therefore his popularity and acclaim only increased in subsequent decades. In other words his style of salsa isn’t easily categorized, For instance for he often changes his approach from one album to the next. After that he became the one of the biggest salsa star of all times. In addition he began singing salsa at age ten and made his formal singing debut on January 6, 1975. Born on August 21, 1962 in the Santurce district of San Juan, Puerto Rico, “El Caballero de la Salsa” grew up listening to the salsa of the 1950s and ’60s. In conclusion he was chiefly influenced by: El Gran Combo, a trailblazing salsa group including Rafael Ithier, Pellín Rodríguez, and Andy Montañez, each of whom left a lasting mark on the impressionable Santa Rosa. He was only 12 years old at the time, and thereafter he wholeheartedly began pursuing his aspirations of becoming a professional salsa Singer. Unique dishes like crab curry and halli style mutton saaru get cooked up in a distinct blend of spices and served with Kerala parota, a layered white bread. But not every dish is meat-based. Vegetarians can enjoy gongura pappu, a dish of mixed lentils cooked in greens and spices. “Excellent food. one star cut due to rice quality and big pieces of ginger in Daal. An Essential Guide to Indian Buffets If you go to an Indian buffet, be sure you plate at least four different dishes. Fill your plate with basmati rice, chicken tikka masala, and don’t forget to rip off some naan to soak up extra sauces. Or try Aloo Gobi, a dry curry with potatoes and cauliflower, a filling option for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diners. Looking for a dish with less kick? Samosas aren’t spicy and pack just as much flavor as any other dish in the buffet lineup. This savory pastry is one of India’s most popular side dishes. SD BLOG PAGE Blog We’re here to help you find your salsa/bachata things you look for every day. Our job is to scour the internet looking for stuff, promo codes, and sales that shoppers might not find on their own. But we do more than that. We dive deep into some beloved brands, uncovering the value in loyalty and rewards programs and more, which means we find even even more ways salsa dance and save. Most restaurant/clubs may cost you a little bit more than some spots, but this deliciousness is fairly-priced (and well worth the few extra bucks). Salsa dancing restaurant’s food isn’t just fun, it comes highly-recommended. In fact, sode DJs recently started remixing beats with English and Spanish songs together to help fans relate to the music. Most people says they love seeing people sing the songs in English while “at the same time they are dancing the Latino moves to it.” Other salsa dance venues in Dallas: Café Salsera, and Beto & Son; check websites to find dates.
